We appreciate that the reopening of our restaurant may generate questions, therefore we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions and answers.

What are the opening times at Spooner’s?
Spooner’s will be open 7 days a week. Takeaway service will be available between 09:00 – 16:00. Restaurant Table Service will be available between 12:00 – 20:00. Bar Table Service will be available between 12:00 – 22:00.

Do I have to reserve a table?
Whilst we recommend booking a table prior to your arrival, we will be accepting walk-ins if capacity allows.

What should we do when we arrive?
Upon arrival, if you have booked or are wishing to sit down, please provide your Track and Trace details and wait to be greeted by a team member who will show you to your table.

Do I have to provide contact details for Test and Trace?
Yes. We will ask for the Track and Trace information upon your arrival. We will need your email address and phone number. You can provide your details digitally or via our sign in sheet.

Do I need to wear PPE at Spooner’s?
All customers at Spooner’s Café, Bar and Grill will be required to wear a face mask upon entering the building. This will apply to customers who are purchasing takeaway items and those who are dining in. Customers who are dining inside or outside may remove their masks once seated, however please note that Masks must be worn if you are leaving the table to use the toilet facilities or paying at the Bar area.

Will you be offering a reduced menu?
We have reduced our menu slightly, however there will still be plenty of choice. You can view our full reopening menu on our Spooner’s website.

Will the tables be adequately spaced out?
Yes. All tables will be spaced at least 2 meters apart or will have sufficient partition frames.

Can we book a table for different households?
Yes. We are accepting bookings for a maximum of 2 households per table. You should of course adhere to government guidelines regarding ‘bubbles’. There is a maximum of 6 persons per table, however please note this does not apply to children.

Can I book a table outside?
Yes. When reserving a table please specify you would like to be seated outside, weather permitting, and we will try to accommodate this where possible.

How long do I get at the table?
During busy periods we may have to limit table time as follows: 1 hour 30 minutes for tables of up to 3 persons, and 1 hour 45 minutes for tables of 4 or more.

Will payments be card only?
Visitors are asked to use ‘contactless’ card payments whenever possible, to limit the use of cash being circulated and handled by staff in our facilities.

Can I use my ‘Eat and Drink’ card?
Yes. The ‘Eat and Drink’ card can still be used for discounts in our catering outlets.

Will there be toilet facilities at Spooner’s?
Yes. There are toilet facilities on the platform at Porthmadog Harbour Station. Social Distancing signs will be clearly marked when queuing for the toilet facilities.

Will Spooner’s be open for Takeaway?
Yes. Spooner’s will continue to offer a Takeaway service daily between 09:00 – 16:00.
