Sunday Carvery is back!

Spooner’s Sunday Lunch is Back from Sunday October 21st as a Carvery.

Join us each Sunday between 12 noon and 3pm for our Winter Warming Carvery with a choice of succulent roast meats sourced from our butcher T.J.Roberts of Bala, and fresh seasonal vegetables with all the trimmings.

Tap Takeover – Friday April 6th.

The world’s oldest independent railway is hosting the UK’s oldest brewery.

Spooner’s present its’ first brewery tap takeover. From Friday April 6th we are being taken over by the world famous Three Tuns Brewery for approximately one week.

Come and sample the wide range of ales on offer, including…

XXX – A renowned beer from a recipe passed down by the Roberts family; a pale-straw-coloured, premium bitter with simple, light malty sweetness, delicate with light bitterness of floral, earthy character.

Best – A most traditional brown ale. All English hop varieties, Marris otter malts. Rich and smooth throughout with a pleasing long bitter-sweet finish.

Rantipole – Refreshingly light and hoppy with hints of elderflower.

Solstice – Straw-coloured, lightly malty, medium-strong, crisp, floral fruity bitterness.

Stout – Black, smooth, creamy, old-fashioned stout with a bitter finish.

Cleric’s Cure – A light-tan beer presenting medium malty sweetness with powerful, spicy, floral bitterness and hop character designed to recreate the iconic style of India Pale Ales of the 19th Century.

Mild – Dark; smooth, mild with rich caramel and chocolate flavours.
